VIVID RECOLLECTIONS AND STORIES

THE MAY 2007 REUNION IN WINNIPEG BROUGHT TEN 422 MEMBERS AND THIRTY FAMILY TO CELEBRATE 65 YEARS SINCE THE SQUADRON WAS FORMED FOR THE BATTLE OF THE ATLANTIC.
Jean Doern initiated and organized the social event at Assiniboia Downs and even arranged a special race for #422 Squadron and the veterans all presented a plaque to the owner of the winner of the third race. A copy was sent to Vic and Betty Kelly in England who, though unable to attend, were also celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
