The Blue Mountain Amateur Radio Club’s two-meter repeater, VE3BMR,transmits on 146.790 MHz and receives on 146.190 MHz. With an antenna located in Collingwood.

It provides a vital communications link for amateur radio operators visiting or sailing in Georgian Bay area and has proved invaluable to winter visitors and residents requiring assistance during the frequent snow storms that attract winter sports enthusiasts to the area.

VE3BMR encodes the CTCSS tone of 156.7 hz.

VE3BMR is part of the South Georgian Bay West Simcoe Amateur Radio Emergency Service, (ARES)

The licensee of the repeater is VA3AYG Arnold St.Amand, through whose efforts and exceptional personal contribution, the repeater continues to be maintained to this day.
