After getting off to a slow start, the Collingwood "Pic by Part" U18 girls turned it up a notch in the 2nd half to go on to a 6-1 win over Ramara on Friday June 22. Goal scorers: Jen Lavers (2) Samm Currie, Shannon Campbell Alex Blair and Jessica Nederend.

After trailing 2-1 at half the Collingwood "Pic by Part" U18 girls rallied in the 2nd half to defeat Barrie 6-2 on Thursday June 28. Stephanie Synnott's determined offensive attack rewarded her with 2 goals on the evening. Also scoring for Collingwood were Jessica Nederend(2), Jen Lavers 1 and Emma O'Gorman 1. Also of note was the outstanding play of the defense on the night keeping the Barrie forwards frustrated all evening

The Collingwood "Pic by Part" U18 girls finished up their season with a home and away vs Bracebridge this week. Monday Aug 27 saw the girls travel to Bracebridge to play a make up game from an earlier lightninged out game. Despite only having 11 and controlling play for most of the game Collingwood was only able to come away with a 2-1 victory. The win however locked up first place for the team. Scoring for Collingwood were Lindsay Forrest and Jen Lavers.

The Collingwood "Pic by Part" U18 girls captured their league cup championship on Saturday August 25 with a convincing 5-0 win over Ramara in Wasaga Beach. The game was never in doubt from the opening whistle as the Collingwood squad came out flying and controlled the game from the onset, limiting their opposition to only 1 scoring chance early and then shut them down for the remainder of the match. Scoring for Collingwood were Jennifer Lavers (2)  Stephanie Synnott (2) and Lindsay Forrest (1)

Thursday August 30 saw the rematch in Collingwood where the home town team were no match for the visiting Bracebridge squad. Collingwood ran away with the contest winning 6-1. Capping off the season scoring for Colingwood were Jen Lavers(2) Caitlin Wilson (2) Stephanie Synnott (1) and Kaitlin Good (1). Congratulations to the girls on a great season winning both the league and cup championships
